Denelia B.

Almost two years after Denelia was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and after numerous bouts of chemotherapy and radiation, multiple surgeries, and two bone morrow transplants, she was declared “cancer free” in May of 2023. Later that month, she rang the bell and by September, removed her port. Denelia and her family were very happy as expected.

She returned to school and was awarded student of the month right away. She then went on to being placed on the principal’s honor roll. Denelia’s hair began growing and she was again having fun with her friends and family and enjoying her childhood.

On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Denelia went in to do her regular scans. That evening, the family received a call to get her to Miami Nicklaus Children Hospital immediately because there was a tumor on her brain.

By Friday morning, she had a brain surgery, which went well, thank God, and by Tuesday she’d had surgery to replace her port and a bone marrow aspiration.

Now, the process begins again however we are still trusting and believing God for a divine miracle on Denelia's behalf and all the other children facing these vicious diseases.

We appreciate your prayers and contributions. Thanks a lot to all the foundation the help keeping Denelia smiling, such as Chasin A Dream and the others. Lori Griffith you will never be forgotten, your kindness goes beyond boundaries. Thank you.
