Matt C.
At the young age of four years old, Matt Dylan has already survived cancer three times. Diagnosed at 18 months with Yolk Sack tumor (testicular cancer), Dylan underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Physicians had given the family the good news that Dylan was “all clear”. Within four months the cancer returned and had spread to his pelvis. Faced with more chemotherapy, young Dylan didn’t understand why he felt horrible and was losing his hair. His family reassured him that it was Gods way of being able to see his face better.
Once again the family was given the “all clear” after his last treatments, but eight months later cancer returned with a vengeance. Doctors were consulted around the country and Dylan underwent more treatment, including ultrasounds, CT Scans, MRI’s, and PET Scans. His little body was fighting hard but he had to undergo more surgery to remove a new tumor below his kidney.
Dylan lives in Jupiter, Florida is currently (as of June 2017) at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami undergoing two bone marrow transplants.
Matt Dylan is fighting hard again and is such a brave warrior. Anyone that has met this super awesome kid, knows that he gives the best hugs EVER!!!! Dylan loves to play with Paw Patrols, Minions, Potato Heads, and Humpty Dumpty.
